High-performance sport asks you for much more than technical and physical excellence: it also asks you for a solid foundation in values, rights and responsibilities. Through this program, the Argentine Basketball Confederation (CAB) and the CAB Institute (ICAB) invite you to become an informed and committed athlete, a key safeguard of the integrity of competition and of respectful coexistence in sport.

You will study the national and international framework that applies to you as a registered athlete (FIBA, WADA and Argentine legislation), and you will gain concrete tools to identify and prevent risks such as doping, match-fixing, gender-based violence, bullying, racism and discrimination.

You will also work on the aspects of your career that go beyond the court: contracts and compensation, tax obligations, budget management, image rights, planning for retirement from competitive sport, mental health, management of competitive pressure and the responsible use of social media.

The course is fully online and self-paced, so you can start whenever you want and organise your own pace. Complete it successfully and meet the mandatory requirement to obtain and renew your player license.
