High-performance sport asks you not only for technical and physical excellence, but also for a solid foundation in values, rights, and responsibilities. Through this program, the Argentine Basketball Confederation (CAB) and the CAB Institute (ICAB) invite you to build the knowledge base every committed athlete needs to safeguard the integrity of competition and respectful coexistence in sport.

Across nine modules, you'll get familiar with the national and international regulatory framework that applies to you as a registered athlete (FIBA, WADA, and Argentine legislation). You'll learn to identify and prevent gender-based violence, bullying, racism, and other forms of discrimination, understand how the anti-doping system works and what your individual responsibilities are, and recognize and reject attempts at match-fixing or sports corruption.

You'll also gain practical tools for managing your career: invoicing, budgeting, and planning for retirement from competitive sport, along with habits that support your mental health and wellbeing, and guidance on managing your digital identity responsibly.

Successful completion of this course is a mandatory requirement for obtaining or renewing your player license in all CAB categories.
